Learning about health — and knowing what to do with that information — can be confusing.

Support someone you care about? This workshop helps caregivers look after their own emotional and mental health while caring for others. Learn practical ways to reduce stress, set boundaries, and keep yourself well while supporting someone else.

Health care can feel overwhelming — appointments, medications, records, follow-ups. This workshop gives tools for organizing care: learning who is on your care team, preparing for appointments, tracking medications or treatments, and using digital tools to help. It’s great if you manage health care for yourself or someone else.

Living with a chronic or rare illness can add extra stress. This session helps you understand stress — how it affects your body and mind — and gives practical coping strategies to help you manage stress better and protect your well-being.

This workshop helps you build health-literacy skills: how to understand health information, communicate clearly with doctors or care providers, make informed decisions, and advocate for your health and your family’s health. You’ll learn where to find reliable info, how to ask good questions, and how to feel more confident in health care settings.

This free workshop helps you feel more prepared, confident, and involved in your healthcare appointments. Using practical tools, videos, and handouts, participants learn steps to take before, during, and after a visit, along with key communication skills like asking questions and using Teach-Back.
